ballet recital
Today was the recital for Audrey's ballet class. We had bought the required special costume, invited the grandmas to attend, and asked papa to watch Charlie. But Audrey refused to perform. She seemed excited for recital until yesterday at rehearsal. She wouldn't go onto the stage, saying she was too scared. So I wasn't expecting much for today. I was really hoping when it came down to it, she would just go for it.
Audrey wouldn't even put her costume back on afterwards for pictures with the grandmas.

Long time reader, first time commenter. This is my most reoccurring nightmare! Committing to some sort of play/performance and then realizing the night-of that I am absolutely unprepared and too terrified to go on stage. Poor Audrey!
