Audrey and I went to the little zoo near our house today. We spent quite a bit of time in the sunken garden looking at flowers. Audrey couldn't take her eyes off the big fountain in the middle.
All morning we had been talking about seeing the snakes and gators. She was also excited to see ducks and swans.

best friends
For the longest time meow the cat has been Audrey's constant companion. She now has a second favorite doll, baby. She talks about them like they are one in the same saying "meowbaby" and refers to them as her "best friends."

Hey, Audrey, what movie opened this weekend?
The girl actually will sing this on her own, but as soon as the camera is out she clams up and wants to see pictures of "babies" (read: pictures of herself)

all hail Brylen, queen of the snacks
Audrey invited "Auntie" Lou and Brylen over for a playdate today. Apparently my girl can't be bothered to stop for anything while she's in the middle of a good time, thank goodness Brylen is there to make sure she stays hydrated.

a visit from Nunu
She looks calm here, but Audrey always gets wound up during a visit from her pal Susan. If you can picture Audrey hurrying around the room, hunched over with arms bent backward & upward, all the while yelling "wings!" you have a good idea how our evening went.

"baby bunny, yeeeah!"
Just a couple of shots to commemorate a visit from our friendly neighborhood baby bunny.
If you can't tell, the bunny is on the patio snacking on some weeds I had pulled earlier in the afternoon.
