I don't know about the rest of you, but I find I'm beginning to tire of this storyline...I suppose I can hang on another week, I do like Burns's art if nothing else. Here's to the hope that it picks up after the big punch today.

The Missing Bridegroom day 13
Oh, hey, I was running another series before vacation wasn't I? As luck would have it we took a break at a pretty good point in the story. Let's see if I remember everything...the Seekers had just broken up the Boneyard Club when Jacob Benedick is suddenly called away to stand in a wedding. The groom, Seppy, doesn't show up and the angry father of the bride hires the Seekers to find him. After some sneaky detective work, Jacob is off to France to spend time in a strip club. Jacob meets up with the recruiter of "the squad," Mon General, and joins up. He is now on his way to infiltrate the group and locate Seppy. Just why Mon General is making out with him here, I do not know. Okay, I guess I do--he's Jacob Benedick after all...
We all caught up then? Right, very good; carry on, Guv'nor.

The Seekers Return: The Missing Bridegroom day 1
Okay, this is a little weak on my part, but I figured I ought to get this out of the way now so you can all cool off over the weekend and come back fresh for brand new Seekers action on Monday. You see, this technically is the start of the new storyline, but if you've been with me for a while, these strips are going to look awfully familiar. Can't be helped, chums. Cheerio.

my apologies, Seekers fans
A while back, okay three whole months ago, I made the claim that the Seekers would be returning soon. And I had every intention of getting them back here. Yet, here we are. I just wanted to say I'm sorry, Seekers fans. A reader offered to send me copies of strips comprising the storyline immediately following "the Boneyard Club" and I've been patiently waiting. I'd rather continue where we left off than jump ahead in time, but I'm beginning to worry that the "Missing Bridegroom" strips aren't coming. We'll see. In any case, I assure you that you will be seeing The Seekers here again, sometime in the near future.

The Boneyard Club epilogue
This is more of a set-up for the next storyline, but serves as a wrap-up for the Boneyard Club as well. Just a little something to round out your week.
I don't have the all the strips for this next exciting adventure, but I do have a full story I'm thinking I'll probably start posting after the new year. I know, I know--if you think the wait is unbearable now, wait until I tell you it's pirate story...

The Boneyard Club exciting finale
The plot threads are tied and the agents are paid. All in all, not a bad diversion. Could have used some more story, but John M. Burns's wonderful line work was enough to keep me going.

The Boneyard Club day 1
The Seekers begins today! Now as best I can tell, this is where "The Boneyard Club" begins, though the fact that the first strip is labelled M103 is worrying me... any Seekers experts out there? There's not much I can do at this point anyway, this is where my run begins. There's plenty of build up, I don't think anyone is going to feel lost.
The numbering system is throwing me on the date. Again, anyone with knowledge, please feel free to step forward. The one reference I found seems to indicate May, 1969 for this story, but that may be a reprint.
*sigh* some comic strip know-it-all I've turned out to be.

the democratic process at work
Well, the polls are closed and it was a landslide: The Seekers will be your new second feature for the weeks to come.
Three votes?! I'm feeling the apathy here, people...
