back among the living
Hello everyone. I realize I tend to disappear now and again for days at a time with little in the way of explanation...but believe me I wasn't expecting this latest absence. I met the grinch this holiday season in the form of a blood clot in the lung which had me hospitalized for several days. A frightening experience to be sure, but I am wholly concentrating on the fact that I'm extremely fortunate my doctor caught this when he did and that I should be able to make a reasonable recovery. I'm lucky, and I know it.
Here's to the hope that you and your loved ones all remain happy and healthy this season. As always, thank you for spending even a little bit of your time online checking in with this site, I truly do appreciate it. Bear with me folks, I'll try to get everything caught up again...
