the polls are open!

If I were more adept at this thing you call HTML, maybe I could have figured out a cool way to tally the votes. Maybe next time, I wouldn't want to try something untested and get a bunch of votes for Pat Buchanan anyway...

So here's the deal, for the next 24 hours votes will be counted in the comments section of this entry. It can be a simple as the name of the strip, or you can go all out and give a justification for your vote. Whatever, I've got a library to run...have at it.

The Seekers, Peter Scratch, Friday Foster, Rip Kirby, or The Virtue of Vera Valiant. Who will be the winner???

Well, while I would like to see more Peter Scratch & Rip Kirby.... my vote has got to go to The Searchers. I've heard about this strip for awhile, and based on the samples you've provided it just looks to be beautifully drawn. I've been really enjoying the recent Titan editions of Modesty Blaise, and I'd really enjoy seeing what else was going on in newspaper strips across the pond.

Oh, and let's get some more Johnny Hazard, too!
